With extremely well-received songs “Found It In You” and “Alabama Nights,” Valory Music Co. recording artist Tiera Kennedy has positioned herself as one to watch, displaying pieces of her forthcoming, full-length album while spotlighting her strong vocals, addictively catchy melodies, and ultra-memorable lyrics.

She now brings every single one of those distinctive qualities to amazing new heights with the release of her brand-new single, “Jesus, My Mama, My Therapist.”

The song, co-written by Tiera with Emily Falvey, Joe Fox, Trannie Anderson and Emily Landis, tackles the simple fact that a broken heart sucks, though not quite as much as it could have if you’ve already got the perfect trinity of confidants surrounding you.

Tiera first takes us through the recognizable familiarity of the small-town whisperers and rumor stirrers who can’t be confided in or trusted, name checking the fact that “Bartender Betty's got a real big mouth” and that “Sally at the beauty shop will tell every blonde in town.”

However, when she pops the last line of the opening verse and confesses that she does in fact have a holy trinity she talks with, the chorus then turns up her sass as she candidly tells of the trio who not only listens without judgement, but also knows everything there is to know about her ex:

“Jesus, my mama, my therapist know all about you

They listen, don't judge me, they love me with or without you

This whole town talks way too much

Thеy're the only ones I can trust

Jеsus, my mama, my therapist know all about you, about you”

Spelling out reasons why she can always count on those three to be there for her, she lists through the bridge:

“Jesus won't tell God

My mom won't tell my dad

And my therapist contractually can't talk about all that”

However, by leaning on the line “they get me through what you put me through” in the second verse, she takes the song from memorable to uber connectible by cleverly not giving specific reason to what caused their split and her inevitable heartbreak, aptly leaving it open to the interpretation of the listener to expertly allow them to slide in their own personal scenario.

Having already found success with additions to several different playlists, she’s currently in hype mode for the new album with the release of this song. And as if it being irresistibly memorable wasn’t already enough to fuel the buzz, crowds have been singing this one in rousing fashion during her recent shows in Nashville, signaling that a radio smash is on its way for Tiera with “Jesus, My Mama, My Therapist.”
