As buzz continues to swirl around ACM New Female Artist of the Year Hailey Whitters, she continues to strategically hype anticipation for her upcoming I’m In Love EP with the release of another teaser track this week, “Tie’r Down.”

The song, co-written by Hailey with Rodney Clawson and Chris LaCorte, follows the breakout success of “Everything She Ain’t” and the EP’s ultra-catchy title track, “I’m In Love.”

Continuing to spotlight her sugary sweet vocal and down home, girl next door innocence, Whitters confidently leans into her country swag through another irresistibly catchy melody to deliver a toe-tapping anthem that teeters on the edges of her modern era aura splashing together with a 90’s country flare.

Though singing in third person point of view, she absolutely wraps plenty of who she is into lyrics that paint the perfect picture of our main character’s personality traits and attitude:

“She’s a daddy’s girl second and Jesus first.”

“Been a whole lot to handle, since the day she’s born.”

“If you piss her off, you’ll get a middle finger answer.”

“She’s a throwback classic like an old Loveless song.”

While the pop into the chorus certainly continues to describe several more attributes that make up who our main character is, there’s also several lines that hold tightly to the depth of the lyric by presenting a warning to the guy who’s lucky enough to finally catch the girl who can’t be tamed:

“If you’re lucky to catch her….Boy, you better hang on.”

“If you don’t love her at her worst…Then you don’t get her at her best.”

“Yeah, she might tie the knot…But you can’t tie’r down.”

As if Hailey Whitters wasn’t already one of the hottest females on the country music circuit today, the addictive catchiness of this song melds into the impeccable planning of these past two teasers to expertly elevate her buzz that much more for her new EP; no doubt doing the trick to strike pre-sale numbers and most likely garner high totals in first week sales.

I’m In Love drops on July 28th.
