Country music singer-songwriter Charlie Berry has released his latest single, “Be Somebody”, available everywhere as of June 17^th.

Written and released independently by Berry, “Be Somebody” is a flirtatious, fun-loving tune that will have listeners tapping their toes and bobbing their heads long before they can sing along.

The Texas native has made a name for himself for his uncanny ability of interpreting feelings and sentiments from deep life events into music and lyrics, often touching upon the darker side of the emotional landscape.  But “Be Somebody” is a stark departure from that, offering a glass-raising anthem that is infectiously catchy and uplifting.

Music can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people.  Sometimes, we as listeners, need the deep sentiment and emotion-revealing lyrics and melodies to help us express our own thoughts and feelings related to whatever life has thrown at us.  Berry has shined in that arena ever since he broke onto the scene. 

There are times, though, when we need a musical escape…just to listen to a song to enjoy the catchy melody and sing along to the fun lyrics.  “Be Somebody” introduces us to that side of Charlie, and the results are incredibly impressive. 

Self-described as a turning point for his career as an artist, the song is going to open up a lot of opportunities for an already established and talented singer-songwriter. 

Having moved to Nashville in 2010, the death of his father in 2020 re-ignited the drive to move forward and take a leap with his music career.  “Whiskey Take It Easy” was released in 2021, and an increasingly growing social media following and now a brand-new single in 2022 have made Charlie Berry one of the new faces to watch on the country music landscape.
