CHAYCE BECKHAM - Everything I Need - Wheelhouse Records

California native Chayce Beckham has released his highly-anticipated debut album, ‘Bad For Me’.  And in tandem with the 13-track unveiling, the American Idol alum has offered a brand-new single.  “Everything I Need” is available both digitally and on all streaming platforms now via 19 Recordings / Wheelhouse Records / BMG.

Written by Beckham along with John Pierce and Lindsay Rimes, “Everything I Need” is an evocative personal account of the thoughts and emotions racing through his mind and his heart as he navigates his way through the ebbs and flows of life.  A redolent poem set to music, this is a masterfully-crafted tune that hits home in all the right places at all the right times for the listener, who is instantly drawn to the vibe while hanging onto every word crooned through Chayce’s gifted vocal delivery.

“And I’ve alive and I’m breathin’

Out here breakin’ more than even

I ain’t leavin’, there’s no place I’d rather be

There ain’t a worry on my mind

Might even roll me one tonight

And let the smoke rise in the moonlight by the creek

And when the sun comes up, I’ll let it dawn on me

I got everything I need”

This is a country song to its core, incorporating the timeless traditional sounds of the genre defined by fiddles and steel guitar while also incorporating subtle modern elements to satisfy fans of all generations.  His voice is spotless throughout, telling an autobiographical tale of his outlook on his life in a way only a truly gifted artist can do.

Over the years of American Idol, sometimes we can fall victim to the assumption that once the show is over, the top contestants become manufactured artists with pre-determined releases and songs that have been specifically written for them and hand-picked without much discretion.  But then an artist comes along like Chayce Beckham who has a past, a story, and an undeniable talent as a singer, songwriter, and performer.

“Everything I Need” follows “23” as his next radio single, a personal account that touches his life story and his past struggles with alcohol.  Of his many talents as an artist, perhaps his greatest is the ability to honestly exonerate moments of his life and set them to music and share them with the world in a way that not only tells his story but also relates to others on a personal level.

“23” has tallied well over 400 million global on-demand streams and more than 10 million Youtube views, while also making Beckham the fourth winner of American Idol to hit the Billboard Country Airplay Top 10.  Nominated for the CMT Music Awards for Breakthrough Male Video Of the Year, Chayce is set to take his career to the next level this year, hitting the road on tours with Luke Bryan and Parker McCollum while also headlining his own “Bad For Me” tour nationwide.
