PRESLEY TENNANT - Somebody Like You - Independent Release

Presley Tennant, The Voice alum and rising country music singer-songwriter, has released her latest single.  “Somebody Like You” is now available both digitally and on all streaming platforms.

Known for her powerhouse vocals and unapologetic lyrical honesty, the California native hits back at an ex who thinks he may be missed with her latest breakup anthem.  She spares no feelings and is brutally honest as she rocks through a “kick you to the curb and never look back” attitude from start to finish.

“Remember the one time your ex hit you with the ‘You’ll never find somebody like me’ text,” Presley said.  “Well my response may or may not have said ‘well I sure hope I don’t.  And then I wrote a song about it.”

The upbeat, modern country vibe flows naturally from the onset, with clean-cut guitar riffs and a steady beat setting the stage for Presley’s phonically-sensational vocal delivery.  With a catchy melody alongside a voice that instantly turns heads, “Somebody Like You” may just be her best release yet.

It’s an honest delivery from the young songstress, who has been growing up in her personal life as she continues to emerge as a bright start on the country music circuit.  The song is well written and flawlessly delivered vocally, showcasing Presley’s undeniable range and diversity that have put her on the list of ones to watch by fans and critics alike.

Most of the music world was first introduced to Tennant when she appeared on Season 16 of The Voice when she was just 16 years old.  Since then, she was worked with renowned producers Kent Wells and Buddy Hyatt, creating her own version of “California Country”, and she has shared the stage with the likes of Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson, Brantley Gilbert, and Tyler Rich.

“Somebody Like You” marks the first release from Tennant since 2022, and will also be available for streaming on all Dolby Atmos compatible devices.  The new tune follows previous releases “Break My Heart”, “Gamble On You”, as well as her cover of Zach Bryan’s “Something In The Orange”, all of which have collectively created an impressive music catalogue from a promising singer and songwriter who is still just beginning to tap into her musical and artistic potential.
