BOOMTOWN SAINTS - American Dream - 8-Track Entertainment

Hitting BIG last year with their #1 song “Blacktop Don’t,” Music Row Magazine’s "Independent Artist of the Year" BoomTown Saints have foundationally built a strong reputation with the country music industry and fans alike, culminating in them recently notching their second consecutive #1 with their most current single, "Good Day To Get Gone."

In what is essentially a thank you note to their incredibly supportive fanbase, the duo now delivers their latest effort, “American Dream.”

Co-written by Chris Ramos and Ben Chism (BoomTown Saints) with James LeBlanc and Phillip White, the song swerves the typical throwaway definitions of what it means to live out the “American Dream,” endearingly shifting spotlight focus back to the little things in life that matter most.

From the moment the guitar slides into the drums popping the intro, the listener is met with a catchy melody that immediately has them window surfing their arm across the air they begin to sway along in the pocket of the addictive groove.

Opening the song like a photo album that provides small-town Polaroids of two kids falling in love, unconditionally, marching forward together while continuously falling more and more with every new day, the anathematic pump of the chorus carries nostalgic Americana vibes as they list a few notable couples before adding their own names to the defining list of what the “American Dream” really looks like.

“We are Jack an’ Diane

Johnny an’ June

Waylon an’ Jesse

Shootin’ for the moon

We are living breathing proof,

Of what loves supposed to do,

What it means to let freedom ring

We are the American Dream”

While the second verse primarily focuses on chasing after your dreams through the carefree lens of young adulthood, underneath that surface layer sits a depth in the lyric that humbly tones gratefulness on how important it is to have the right person standing encouragingly by your side as you take your shot at “destination promise land.”

With each next song that BoomTown Saints share, we’re continuously able to hear their dedication to the craft and a hopefulness that speaks right to the heart of what matters most. There are the obvious reasons why the duo is turning so many heads and achieving such high industry accolades, but it’s within their ability to weave a lyric like they have on “American Dream” that they notch what is perhaps the highest honor that any artist can as they themselves become the positive reminder to enjoy every right now moment as they are all part of a bigger journey into your next tomorrow.
