HARDY - Six Feet Under (Caleigh's Song) - Big Loud Rock

HARDY continues to push the boundaries of country music and its neighboring genres as he gears up for the release of his forthcoming album, ‘QUIT!!’.  And as the highly-anticipated record nears its July 11 release date, he is sending a new song to country radio.  “Six Feet Under (Caleigh’s Song)” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Big Loud Records.

Written entirely by HARDY, the tune is an autobiographical tale inspired by his wife, Caleigh.  A track of love and mortality, the song holds a special significance to him from a personal standpoint as well as his longing to perform it live for the masses.

“This is a special one from the upcoming ‘QUIT!!’ album that I look forward to singing with you guys out on tour,” he shared via Instagram.

A steady, melodically rhythmic acoustic guitar sets the vibe through the verses, and he croons his way through the thought-provoking lyrical anecdotes as he explores his impermanence while professing his everlasting love for his wife.

“Where do you go when you die?

How do you know when you’re there?

If Heaven’s a moment you wish never ended

Then I’m six feet under somewhere”

The emotional impact of the tune escalates to another level for the latter third of the track, with the beat kicking up and acoustics being replaced by their electric counterparts.  Undoubtedly, this song tip-toes the line of country music, but his impact on the genre over the past few years will continue to permeate with this new offering, serving as perhaps the final preview of ‘QUIT!!’ before its release.

HARDY has been on the road extensively already this year and is his schedule is expected to only further busy itself with the release of his new album.  ‘QUIT!!’ is a follow up to 2023’s ‘the mockingbird & THE CROW’, and promises to take his brand of rock-influenced country music to another level.
