Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Callista Clark made her country music debut in February 2021 with the release of her EP, ‘Real To Me’.  The songstress’s formal introduction to the genre featured the Top 20 single, “It’s ‘Cause I Am’, and put her face on the map of fast-rising young artists with the promise to serve as the next generation of country music.

Flash forward to November 2023, the now 20-year-old Zebulon, GA native continues to make a name for herself as one of the brightest young talents on the mainstream circuit.  Her brand-new single, “Diamond,” is now available digitally and on all streaming platforms.

The trademark reaction to someone who hears Callista Clark sing for the first time is the astonishment of the vocal maturity she possesses from start to finish.  The range, power, and control are impressive, and her ability to integrate vulnerability and confidence at varying moments throughout a song shows a musical intellectuality well beyond her years.

Written by Clark along with Sam Ellis and Laura Veltz, “Diamond” is an ode to women empowerment, self-assurance, and emotional bravery.  Faced with the uncertainty of a relationship and the reluctance of a significant other to make the “right move” and make her happy, Clark takes matters into her own hands.

“Don’t wait for someone else to give you want you want,” Callista said.  “Go out and get it yourself!”

Immediately grabbing the listener’s attention with a pop-infused beat and hooks that percolate the ears, the tune runs through mid-tempo, rising runs and riffs to create a fun, sassy vibe headlined by Clark’s standout vocal delivery.
