LILY GRACE - Maybe So- Independent Release

Though she already had a stellar career blossoming in her native Australia with songs such as “The Two Of Us Meet,” it seemingly exploded overnight when Lily Grace took the leap of faith to move across the pond.

Her relocation to Tennessee arrived with the dreamer’s travel companion, “Follow My Road,” setting her next chapter in motion as she embraced her adopted home of Music City, honing her songwriting craft, vocal prowess, and overall aura to quickly make her one of Nashville’s newest arrivals to watch.

Coming off the very well-received “Bet On Us,” she now turns to the next page of the flirtatious chapter in her young love story with her brand new single, “Maybe So.”

With an ultra-modern, pop country rhythm surrounding an addictively catchy melody, the listener is immediately pulled in and bopping along as Lily leans the natural playfulness of her voice into the chorus to kick into the song; intriguingly swerving the standard songwriting formula to start this one off hot:

“Everybody’s lookin’ at us like we’re together

Everybody’s thinkin’ that we’re on now

Oh oh oh maybe so

The room is spinning and it couldn’t feel better

Maybe it’s better than ever

Oh oh oh maybe so”

She paints perfect visuals through each of the verses as she brings the listener directly into the initial night that they first met, confessing that she didn’t intend to meet anyone when she went out that night but to rather just kill some time before heading home alone to watch a movie…but then this unexpected meet-up happened and it would result in them both singing the words to every love song being played.

Moving the story further along in the second verse, she confesses that she truly didn’t think too much of that first night, that maybe he was just a one-time and then gone coffee date, before metaphorically shrugging her shoulders in the bridge to bring the emotions and swooning feels to their crescendo when she optimistically sings:

“Maybe so take a chance

Maybe we could make it last

Maybe this you and me

Is something always meant to be”

“Maybe So” is the absolute perfect next step in this young starlets fast-tracking career as it not only incorporates all of her signature flares into a full display of where her current chapter is headed, but it provides several sing along moments to suit both a windows down drive and for a live audience to gravitate to, making this a centerpiece fixture during her shows and instant favorite on repeat amongst her growing fan base.
