DUE SOUTH - Breaking Ground - Independent Release

As we have seen over the years, Nashville is the breeding ground for hope, imagination, and new beginnings.  Aspiring artists and songwriters travel from literally all around the globe to Tennessee with the anticipation of taking their careers to the next level in one of the most famous music cities in the world.

But this crazy town is also the land of musical opportunity for artists who are in need of a new direction with which to take their careers.  The talent and work ethic are highly competitive in this town, and sometimes, when gifted artists come together as one and intertwine their abilities to form a new collection of music, the sky is the limit.

Ladies and gentlemen…may the country music world be put on notice.  We have a brand-new group that is set to make waves in Music City and beyond.  Due South, a country rock trio, is making their formal introduction to the masses with the release of their debut single, “Breaking Ground.”  The edgy, upbeat track is available now digitally and on all streaming platforms.

Ali Rose, Kylee Stone, and Melissa Carter have each been honing their crafts as singers and songwriters, and have individually achieved impressive feats in their music tenures thus far.  In 2022, the three ladies joined forces to form Due South, a country and southern rock infused outfit with a unique sound and gritty aggression that will demand the attention of the country music industry.

“Breaking Ground” is a pure country rock anthem from start to finish.  It’s a heavy hitter from the onset, with its catchy hooks and riffs permeating through the listener’s ears as the three ladies harmonize their way through the toe-tapping verses and sing-along chorus.

Sure, we have heard an abundance of rock-infused country in the past, but rarely is it fronted by a female vocalist.  And Due South enters unchartered waters with an all-female lineup rocking through a southern anthem.  Ali, Kylee, and Melissa have created a unique sound, trading lead vocal duties, while the three-part harmonies are what really put this song over the top.  As the three-minute-plus anthem draws to a close, it leaves the listener immediately wanting more.

These three singer-songwriters have accomplished a lot in their individual tenures in the music business, from radio charting to nationwide tours, and now, with the newfound energy and a fresh new sound, these three gifted artists are set to collectively introduce the country community to Due South.
