In recent years, the lights and sounds of Nashville, TN represent one of the most recognizable downtown atmospheres of anywhere in the nation.  The “home of country music is constantly filled to capacity with a combination of fans, tourists and aspiring country artists, and memorable experiences are made every day in the lights of Music City.

Enter a fresh face to the music scene, Paige Bell, who has just released her debut single, which pays tribute to a special night out with friends, inspiring her to put pen to paper and formally introduce herself to country music.  “Nashville Bar,” the talented young singer-songwriter’s brand-new tune, is available digitally and on all streaming platforms now.

Offering a vibrant beat blended with a story-telling account of a fun night out to which we can all relate, “Nashville Bar” is a song tale that will resonate with its listeners well beyond the track’s ending.  With a sound and energy that resemblances to mash of Alexandra Kay, Priscilla Block, and Raelynn, this is an anthemic tribute to living one’s best life – young, free, and happy, and enjoying an unexpected magical evening with someone new.

“Wasn’t looking for no one

But then you showed up

You and all your friends

We got to drinking and I got to thinking

I hope this night don’t end”

The relatability of this song is what helps take it to the next level.  We have all experienced a night that we weren’t expecting but ended up being one of those special times we will never forget.  And to add to its honesty and integrity, “Nashville Bar” is a tune written based on true events.

“I went to Nashville for my 21st birthday and one night my friends and I were at Whiskey Row and ran into some guys and it just so happened that each of us got paired with one of them,” Paige shared.  “When we left, I went home and wrote ‘Nashville Bar’ in about 15 minutes.  The lyrics were just pouring out of me, and it has been the easiest song I’ve written to this day.”

While the song is a pop-country account of young love’s beginning, its vibrant and bubbly persona shouldn’t be mistaken for inexperience or immaturity.  This is a cleverly-crafted tune that interludes upbeat, radio-ready melodic hooks alongside down-to-earth yet sophisticated lyrical imagery.

With its modern vibes, sing-along relatable lyrics, and upbeat hooky rhythms, “Nashville Bar” promises to be the first of many releases of this bright young starlet.  With the look and sound of one is on the precipice of taking the next step in her music a career, Paige Bell is a name we will be keeping an eye out for at Today’s Country Magazine.
