TCM Class of 2023 Artist and twin sister duo Hobbs Sisters have released their new single, “Will If You Wanna”, which is available digitally and on all streaming platforms now.  The song, simultaneously released with its accompanying music video, is an up-beat anthem perfect for summer.

Since their move from Pennsylvania to Music City only a few years ago, Hannah and Lauren Hobbs have collectively made a name for themselves with strong vocal harmonies and musical comradery, as well as their ability to tap into relatable topics and the consequent feelings and emotions.  That trend continues with “Will If You Wanna”, which tells the tale of being instantly drawn to someone unexpectedly during a night out on the town.

As has been the case since the duo started making waves on music row, their lyrics are simple yet sophisticated, portraying an elaborate portrait of the situation while also leaving some interpretation up to the listener from his/her own perspective.

“When we wrote this song, we wanted to paint the picture of an unexpectedly great night,” Hannah Hobbs shares.  “It’s an amazing feeling to meet someone for the first time and feel a strong connection with each other.  We tried to put the listener right in that moment with this song.”

Over the past few years, the ladies have released both upbeat and subdued singles, both of which immaculately showcase their exquisite vocal harmonies.  The familiarity and comfort with which this duo sings is consistent and unwavering, adding to the song’s ability to engage the listener and tell its story with the appropriate emotional impact from start to finish.

“Will If You Wanna” is fun, upbeat, and a sing-along, toe-tapping dance number, while also touching on a relatable situation in which many have found themselves at one point or another.

“Don’t talk to boys under bar signs

Don’t normally dance, but this one time

I look in your eyes and I feel like

One more tequila, will if you wanna

Next thing you know it’s sunrise

We’re both putting off the goodbye

We can’t help we go down smooth like

One more tequila, will if you wanna”

In a very short time since moving to Nashville, the Hobbs Sisters have continued to hone their craft as singers and songwriters and have put together an impressive musical catalogue that showcases their ability to write relatable songs and communicate the lyrical creativity through soothing, beautiful harmonies.  The confidence and musical bravado shines a little brighter with every release we hear from these two talented women, while the anticipation of new music heightens within the industry.

“Will If You Wanna” follows past singles “Harder Than A Diamond” and “Love Breaks All The Rules”.  All of the aforementioned tracks are expected to be included on the duo’s upcoming full album release, currently slated for October.  This will mark the sisters’ first album since ‘Turn It Up’ in 2021.
