MAKENZIE PHIPPS - Life Gives You Love - Independent Release

Bluefield, West Virginia native Makenzie Phipps has once again left us in awe at her vocal prowess, range, and bravado with her latest release.  “Life Gives You Love” is available now digitally and on all streaming platforms.

One of the trademarks of a talented recording artist is the ability to offer a new element with every release.  Phipps delivers on multiple levels with “Life Gives You Love”, which may be her most impressive release to date.  This is a modern country tune with traditional undertones, headlined by a bluesy vibe that takes this song over the top.  The soulful tone to the verses breaks way to the vocal-headlined chorus that is mesmerizing as she powerfully croons her way through the uplifting and inspiring lyrics.

“Life gives you love

Take it and run

Don’t ask no questions

No second guessing

Or if it’s too good to be true”

Written by Lance Miller, Meghan Patrick, and Kyle Clark, “Life Gives You Love” adamantly showcases its singer’s one-of-a-kind vocal ability while offering a distinct, unique style that will separate itself from the rest of her catalogue.

“I’ve been so excited to release this song to the world,” she shared.  “I think it’ll show people a different element to my voice that’s more bluesy with a powerful flare.  I hope everyone out there enjoys this song as much as I do!”

Makenzie’s vocals are beautiful on this track, effortlessly flowing through the verses and soaring into the chorus with the confidence of a seasoned star.  Her musical maturity continues to develop from release to release, and we can hear the natural gifts she possesses shine through at all the right moments.

Phipps is on the fast track to country music success, demanding the attention of the industry for her undeniable talent.  And while her high-profile covers of Alan Jackson’s “I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You,” as well as classics “Amazing Grace” and “Travelin’ Solider” are impressive, she has brightened her star power with every release of original music.  From “Maybe” to “Drag” to “A Little Of Both” and “You Bring the Beer (I’ll Bring the Noise)”, Makenzie is proving herself a talented songwriter just as much as an incredible vocalist, while also showcasing her musical variety while blending her sound between genres and disciplines.
