KELLEIGH BANNEN - I Know Better Now- Whiskey Rain

The incredibly talented Kelleigh Bannen is once again gracing fans with brand-new music.  The renowned singer-songwriter has been keeping busy as host of “The Kelleigh Bannen Show” and “Today’s Country Radio” on Apple Music Country, and now she is back with her first music release since 2019.

“I Know Better Now” is available everywhere as of October 4th, perfectly illustrating who she is as an artist and singer.  Written by Logan Wall, the song showcases Bannen’s incredibly beautiful vocal range, flexibility, and control.  Her ability to convey an emotional response from the listener is astonishingly impressive.

The song’s lyrics flow like a poem, with the sophisticated nature of the anecdotal dispatch encompassing the listener with every line delivered effortlessly by Kelleigh’s smooth, elegant vocals.

“I want there to be that invitation for people to just to lean in a little bit with me and be themselves”, she said.  “I hope it feels like an invitation and then I do hope that in sharing truth about my own heart, that it’s a life-giving thing in some way”.

“I know a song keeps you singing

A little curve keeps you swinging

You lean a lot harder onto faith when your luck runs out

The pain cuts to the nerve

And I’m no stranger to the hurt

But I know better now”

As part of her hosting duties on Apple Music’s global live-streaming radio station, Kelleigh’s on-air personality took off as she was a regular interviewer of some of the biggest names in all of country music, from Dolly Parton and Chris Stapleton to Kelsea Ballerini and Miranda Lambert.

“I know Better Now” serves as Kelleigh’s first release since ‘Favorite Colors’, her critically-acclaimed album from 2019.  The renowned record was a hit among fans and critics alike, featuring the standout single “The Optimist”.  From her experiences as a performer, singer and songwriter, as well as a show host, Bannen has fully immersed herself in all aspects of the country music world, from a song’s inception to the production to the finished product.  Despite all of her endeavors and abilities that she continues to demonstrate, what should never be overlooked is truly gifted she is as an artist and a musician.
