ADAM WARNER - Boots in the Bed - ONErpm

Adam Warner has created a very solid blueprint within the foundations of each step he’s taken on his path by using the right song releases, high octane performances, and staying unapologetically true to who he is through his brand of country.

Teetering on the edge between modern country and rock, over the past year he’s made heavy impact with songs such as “One Drunk,” “What We’re Known For” and “Cowboy Crazy,” while most recently resonating with the blue-collar heartland through “The Farmer.”

The Marine veteran now returns with “Boots In The Bed,” co-written by Mark Addsion Chandler, Taylor Goyette, and Cooper Bascom.

Where other songs of this lyrical nature tend to soften the pace around a sexier tilted vibe, Warner opts to stay with an edgier groove that tests his furthest boundaries stylistically to perfectly match the intensity of his heartbeat revving as he takes us through the exhilarating lead-in to a night of getting frisky…country style!

California king ranch out in the drive, just waiting on your baby to take you a ride,” he sings on the opening lines of the song, setting in motion the flirtatious truck excursion that he’s blatantly hinting at taking with her way out back in the pines where they could get their souls lined up together in the truck’s bed.

But before you climb over the side,” he sings intentionally as the chorus grinds like a country version of a 90’s alternative rock song, driving though the raw edges of Adam’s voice as he heats things up just when they’re about to hop in his truck, spelling out how exactly how their night will go when he entices:

“Leave your blue jeans out on the limb

With your G-N-R tee getting down to your skin

Keep you Lucchese’s on your feet

Everything above your shins, girl you ain’t gonna need

Get your tan lines pressed on my two tone body

Nothing but the leather at the end of your legs

Nah we ain’t stopping til the back treads hopping

From the leaf springs rockin, knockin boots in the bed”

Continuing to spell out their steamy night together, he adds fuel to the rush on the second verse when he knowingly nods to nothing being better than the getting dirty with just them two, the birds, and the bees, while further painting the love making picture in the bridge.

While Adam Warner has always walked the edges of rock and country, “Boots in the Bed” intriguingly sees him sliding to the edges of his comfort zone to teeter just enough into something different, adding an exciting new dynamic to his signature flare that expertly hypes the anticipation for things still to come next month with the release of “First Face,” a song that will coincide with his personal life as he and his wife welcome their first child.
