ABBIE FERRIS - Neon Buzz - RTC Records

Having released previous singles “3AM Girl,” “Hot Summer Nights,” and most recently “My Kinda Cowboy,” singer-songwriter Abbie Ferris is steadily progressing her career and climbing the ranks of bright young starlets in country music, both in her native Australia and in the United States.

Her latest effort, “Neon Buzz,” is available everywhere now via RTC Records.  The Aussie-songstress with the “girl-next-door” demeanor has been turning heads and turning up speakers with her consistent dedication to craftily-clever lyrics, sweet catchy melodies, and powerfully beautiful vocals.

Co-written by Ferris along with Phil Barton, “Neon Buzz” follows the trend of its predecessors, lyricizing and harmonizing its way through a story of a night out on the town full of questionable decisions.

“There is something to be said about a night out on the town and bad decisions,” Abbie said.  “Maybe it’s the neon lights or the tequila?  One thing we do know is bad decisions make for good stories.”

This tune is an unapologetically pop-country anthem that will irresistibly resonate with the younger demographic through its subject matter, listener-friendly guitar licks and hooks, and her soaring vocal delivery.  Ferris knows who she is as a person and as an artist, and has found her niche within the genre.  “Neon Buzz” incorporates all of those modern elements that the mainstream masses know and love about today’s music, while also showcasing the remarkable talent of its writer and singer that the music world continues to discover with every new song released.
