Luke Bryan is at the point in his career where he can pretty much release anything he wants to release, and radio will not only give it a spin, but it will most likely race up the charts and into the #1 position.

However, in no way whatsoever does that mean he’s resting on that notion.

With “Country On,” Bryan’s newest single, he may have just released his most important song to date.

The first glimpse of his next project sees Bryan raising the bar with a mid-tempo anthem that holds nothing back while encouraging us to remember the importance of all the everyday, mostly blue-collar people and all the different aspects of life that are most important to our very fabrication.

The song, co-written by David Frasier, Styles Haury, Mark Nesler and Mitch Oglesby, delivers good vibes and sees Luke sitting right in his wheelhouse, similar to what we got from him on “Most People Are Good,” as he hits on his down-home country charm saluting with a humble thank you everyone from farmers, to truck drivers, firemen, the boys in girls and blue, and the American soldiers who serve to protect our freedoms.

Shifting gears away from the everyday people, he also uses pieces of this song to remind us of the morals and values that come with a small-town raising, while even hitting closer to home with his nod to Nashville and all the dreamers that are here bending those guitar strings and chasing their next best song.

The feel-good tune already has you hooked and drawn in with all the bold reminders of what matters most, when Bryan then hits us with the most important line of the song in the third chorus:

"Hey, hey USA, we ain't seen our better days."

Addressing the elephant in the room and tackling a very tough subject to broach with there being so much back and forth and so much arguing about what is and what isn’t happening right in our country right now, Bryan swerves all of that to unapologetically hit the nail on the head when he declares in his own unique way to come together and reminds us to stand proudly in knowing that we still live in the greatest country.

“Country On” is most certainly going to run right up the charts, but not because of it being a song from one of country music’s most renowned artists, but because of it’s absolutely powerful, much-needed message that we all need to hear right now as we allow it to permeate the division line and bring a country divided to one of unity.
