Vere Music artist/songwriter Cody Webb has been making a name for himself as a songwriter and performer over the past year and will undoubtedly continue to climb the ladder of notoriety with the release of his latest single, “Money Well Wasted”.

As described by Webb himself, the song “embodies everything we did as teenagers and young adults that may seem foolish, but created memories you will cherish for a lifetime”.

Co-written by Webb along with Jordan Rowe and Daniel E. Johnson, the tune is a catchy number with adequate hooks and riffs that will keep the listener entertained while also singing along to the down-to-earth and relatable yet thought-provoking lyrics.

While “Money Well Wasted” doesn’t break the mold for subject matter on the forefront, the song does showcase his vocal, lyrical, and charismatic delivery that certainly will put the country music circuit on notice.

“We started this song a long time ago and I had sort of forgotten about it until we were writing again one day recently”, Cody explains.

Released on January 15th, the song is the follow up to his successful label release “Sticks” and his holiday original “It’s Christmas”.

The release of “Money Well Wasted” coincides with the announcement of Webb’s “This Gas Ain’t Cheap Enough Tour”, a southeastern jaunt through Charlotte, Charles, and Columbia, South Carolina.  His on-stage performance continues to turn heads, as he has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the genre, including Morgan Wallen, Cole Swindell, and LoCash.

With new music under his belt and a tour on the horizon, 2022 promises to be a big year for Cody Webb and an eye opener for country music, being introduced to a bright young singer-songwriter.
