Country singer-songwriter turned hit-maker Lee Brice’s song “Soul” is a bit of an escape from the tunes we typically hear from him, but still re-settles within the confines of what we love about him.

It’s a fun, light-hearted song with the romantic vocals that have been used in relationships ever since he came on the country music scene.  It’s a sexy, sentimental track, but delivered in a way that reaches the sweet, innocent side of a lover’s feelings.

“Don’t need to be undressing

To feel like you’re impressing

Must have died and gone to heaven

Go on and take me to confession

Yeah, you’ve got me singing Holy mother of Moses

I just wanna buy you roses

Open every door that closes

And kiss you from your head to your toeses”.

Yes…”toeses”.  When you’re Lee Brice and you have the love song track record he does, that suffices.  Word intervention has always been a key element of successful trend setting songs over the years in the genre, and the use here will not be lost on the listener.

“Soul” is part of the 15 track ‘Hey World’ release, which also features the number one hit “One Of Them Girls”.  Brice currently has dates scattered throughout the end of the year and into 2022 at clubs, theatres and festivals.
