HANNAH ELLIS
"Us"
Curb Records
Hannah Ellis has released her latest single, “Us”, impacting radio as of October 25th. The tune was written for her husband, fellow singer-songwriter Nick Wayne, and is set to take the country music community by storm.
Ellis debuted the song during her own Grand Ole Opry debut, delivering the soulfulness and emotional virtuosity in the way that has made her one of the most illustrious underground talents in Music City.
“You and me will always be us
Like comin’ home headlights always means your truck
Like leanin’ in’s always gonna be
My red wine lips mixed with your whiskey kiss Friday nights
Like your right hand’s always gonna be in mine
Some things just fit perfectly
Like an old t-shirt and Levin jeans
You and me will always be us”
The University of Kentucky alum has made a name for herself in the 10+ years she has been cutting her teeth in Nashville, having songs of hers cut by the likes of Carly Pearce, Russell Dickerson, and Danielle Bradbery. Now, it is time for the country music mainstream to be introduced to Hannah Ellis, the performer. Stay tuned…the lights will only get brighter for this starlet.
