Since first arriving on the country music scene in 2015 (known then as The Runaway Hamsters), sibling group TRHibe has been consistently turning heads while carving out their signature niche amongst an overcrowded genre.

Their latest single, “Constantine,” continues building on that niche as they weave us through a tale of love and loss – with an added twist of intrigue that helps complete the story and keep you drawn into it.

Plucking inspiration from the history of the old West, and combining it with a bit of storytelling imagination, “Constantine” tells a tale of Santa Anna, a well-known military figure who is often regarded as the “bad guy.”

But what if that “bad guy” had a soft spot in his heart that was full of unconditional love? That’s the depth of the story that is explored on “Constantine.”

Backed by a rhythm that pulls influence from the Spanish kissed old western sound, TRHibe sings of Santa Anna hiding the girl he loved from the world in such a unique way that you don’t see the twist coming when it hits, which makes this a solid piece of storytelling.

“The prettiest girl he’d ever seen, just like a dream she was his Constantine,” continuously helps to deliver the impact of how much the girl means to him throughout the entire song as the line repeats itself frequently, while they also give us a clear vision of who she is when they describe her as beautiful, subtle, and supreme.

We don’t want to give away the twist that occurs during the bridge, so you’ll just have to take a listen to the song by clicking play on the video below to experience that for yourself.

TRHibe has grown up right in front of us and they continue to hone their craft and find ways to pull out their signature feel as they come more into their own and define who they are through great storytelling and harmonies as only siblings can deliver. “Constantine” elevates these strong, unique qualities and acts as a great indicator of where the group is at today, but also where they’re headed as they open their next chapter.
