TIGIRLILY GOLD - "Country & Midwestern" - Monument Records

The lovely ladies of Tigirlily Gold are back once again with another highly energized tune that will have listeners tapping their toes and singing along. “Country & Midwestern” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Sony Music Nashville.
The breakout sister duo continue to make waves throughout country music with their combination of sparkly sass and undeniable creativity coupled with remarkable vocal talent. Staying true to their roots, their music continues to offer listeners a glimpse into their minds and hearts as people and performers.
“We grew up in North Dakota and when we moved to Nashville about nine years ago, people would always say ‘Wow, I’ve never met anybody from North Dakota. What’s it like growing up in the Midwest?’ So, we decided we should let everybody know!,” shared Kendra Olson and Krista Slaubaugh. “It’s just as country as living in the south, just a different kind of country. We have a hotdish instead of a casserole, and we eat walleye instead of catfish. So, we hope you love this Midwest anthem!”
The tongue-in-cheek, image-filled ear-catcher celebrates the unmistakable pride the sisters feel for growing up in the Midwest, especially their home state, who named the duo as official ambassadors in 2025. A vibrant fusion of country storytelling and girl‑group sass, “Country & Midwestern” is as much a tribute to their roots as it is a celebration of the Midwest’s unique charm and character.
To celebrate the release, the sisters made a surprise appearance at Chief’s in downtown Nashville, just down the street from where they used to play honky-tonk cover gigs before getting their start.
With undeniable momentum and a reputation for show‑stopping live performances, Tigirlily Gold continues to stand out as one of country music’s most exciting rising acts. The ACM Award winners are set to join Carly Pearce on her upcoming European tour and are supporting Lainey Wilson, Scotty McCreery, and Tracy Lawrence on select dates this spring and summer.
