CHRIS YOUNG - Til The Last One Dies - Black River Entertainment

Country music superstar Chris Young has released his first taste of new music of 2025, and it is a song that will etch itself in the hearts and minds of the hopeless romantic in us all.  “Til The Last One Dies” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Black River Entertainment.

Written by Ben Hayslip, Seth Mosley, and Jordan Walker, the new tune is the first for Young at his new label home.  The song finds him right in his comfort zone, crooning out a ballad while showcasing his trademark powerfully controlled and emotionally-vulnerable vocal delivery.

“Songs like this don’t come along every day, and I haven’t released a ‘wedding love song’ in a while,” Young said.  “Those songs are a core part of who I am as an artist.  I’ve been doing this for a long time, and yet this feels like a new chapter.  IT’s invigorating for me as a creator.”

This is an unapologetic love ballad from start to finish, an ode to the special person in one’s life whom gives life new meaning, whom makes your world a better place by being a part of it.  It’s raw, it’s honest, and it’s vulnerable…everything that a love song should be and more.

“It hit me on a winding road just how lucky I am

Outta all the guys, only God knows why I get to be your man

So I bought a dozen roses on my way to you tonight

Eleven real ones, one fake one

And I’ll love you til the last one dies”

The multi-platinum global entertainer has accumulated an impressive list of accomplishments, including membership in the iconic Grand Ole Opry, more than nine billion global streams, 14 career No. 1 singles, 54 RIAA certifications and numerous ACM, AMA, CMA and GRAMMY nominations, as well as wins for “Performance of the Year” and “Collaborative Video of the Year” at the CMT Music Awards. These milestones and more landed him among Billboard’s top country artists of the decade.

Young is starting the new year with a new label, joining the artist roster of Black River Entertainment, with "Til The Last One Dies" being his debut single release. The news comes on the heels of Young’s ninth studio album, ‘Young Love & Saturday Nights,’ released in 2024, which featured the record’s title track as well as “Looking For You”.

It’s hard to believe that Chris Young was once a contestant on a steadily-climbing competition show called “Nashville Star”.  Ever since winning season four of the show in 2006, the Murfreesboro, TN native has seen his career transform from singing contestant to aspiring singer-songwriter to country music superstar.

In addition to the release of a new tune, Young is also set to be on the road this spring and summer, playing headlining gigs as well as making appearances at some of the country’s biggest festivals from coast to coast from now through August.
