TYRA MADISON - Party Girl - Independent Release

Emotional turmoil and vulnerability are at the forefront of the latest release from rising country artist Tyra Madison.  Serving as her first release of 2025, “Party Girl” is available now, both digitally and across all streaming platforms.

Concealing her pain and heartbreak through a façade of flirtatious fun, the track ebbs and flows its way through the internal struggle of someone trying to navigate through a difficult stage of her life while looking the part of the happy party girl on the outside.

Produced by Jason Haag and written by Marla Cannon Goodman and Dustin Christensen, the tune is an ode to honestly expressing one’s feelings in a world that encourages us to remain strong and steadfast, even when that is seemingly impossible.

“’Party Girl’ is a reminder that it is okay to not be okay,” Tyra said.  “It’s for the girl crying in the bathroom and then going back to her friends with a painted smile on her face.”

A slow-tempo intro sets the tone for the entire track, with somber interludes and melodic inferences perfectly capturing the mood and vibe from start to finish.  A clear delivery and miraculously powerful-yet-controlled vocals headline the tune from the onset, and Tyra croons her way through the heartfelt, relatable lyrics, painting an accurate portrayal of a scene we have all experienced by shining a light on the vulnerability that often goes unnoticed in the party scene.

“Stare down yourself in the mirror

Holding that old makeup brush

Thinking you’re solving your problems

By covering them up

First thing you fix your mascara

That all that crying’s under

Pick up that rose color lipstick

Put your smile back on”

To celebrate the song's release, Tyra hosted a Blind Tyraoke Night on February 28, held at The Blueprint Underground Cocktail Club, an upscale nightclub in the heart of Printers Alley in Nashville.

Serving as her first release of the year, “Party Girl” follows standout tracks “Hurts A Little Less” and “Plead The 5th”, as well as her viral hit, “Right Girl Wrong Time”.

To date, Madison has accumulated over 12 million streams across all digital service platforms to date, has been featured on some of the more exclusive playlists on Spotify and Apple Music, and has shared the stage with the likes of Maddie & Tae, Priscilla Block, and Ernest.  With every new song offered, this Belmont University alum’s star shines brighter, and that trend is sure to continue with the release of “Party Girl”.
