BRYCE LEATHERWOOD - Where The Bar Is - Mercury Records Nashville

Fresh off a career-altering, breakout year in 2024, Bryce Leatherwood is aiming to take his music stardom to even greater heights with the release of his first single of the new year.  “Where The Bar Is” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Mercury Nashville.

Written by Chase McGill, Cole Taylor, Michael Carter, and Shane Minor, the tune combines country and rock to create a head-bobbing, toe-tapping ode to open bars and the escape an ice cold beer with buddies can provide after a long week of work.

“When I first heard the demo for this song, it got stuck in my head immediately,” Leatherwood said.  “It took me back to when I was just starting out and playing with my band at Georgia Southern.  It reminds me of the bars we’d play…and drink at.  It is definitely a song I’d have a beer with, both then and now and I’m so excited for ya’ll to hear it!”

A fun, laid-back and undeniably relatable tune from start to finish, “Where The Bar Is” will have the listener singing and dancing along with its infectiously catchy melody and cleverly hard-hitting lyrics.

“Beer’s where the bar is

Bar’s where my card is

Card’s where my 40 hours

Working real hard is

Working real hard is

Not where my heart is

My heart’s here

‘Cause beer’s where the bar is”

The release of “Where The Bar Is” follows “Hung Up On You”, Leatherwood’s debut single which arrived at country radio as the most-added single, with 45 first-week adds and is currently climbing the chart.

Most of the music world was first introduced to the Woodstock, GA native when he won season 22 of NBC’s The Voice.  From there, he signed a management deal with Morris Higham Management in 2022, followed by a record deal with Republic Records and Mercury Nashville in October 2023.

Leatherwood made his Grand Ole Opry debut and also released his debut single in 2024, and now the soulful crooner is poised to give fans a taste of what we can expected as he readies his debut album to be released this spring.
