LEE BRICE - Cry - Curb Records

By now, most fans know of Lee Brice’s rise to fame in country music.  Originally making a name for himself in Music City as a talented songwriter, the CMA and ACM award winner took the next step as a recording artist and hasn’t looked back since, charting nine No. 1 singles at radio and collaborating with some of the biggest stars in the genre and selling out shows across the nation. 

And still, years into a multi-Platinum career, Brice still moves the needle and tugs at the listener’s heartstrings, continuing that trend with the first release of 2025.  “Cry” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Curb Records.

Written by Brice along with Dallas Davidson, Ben Hayslip and David Garcia, “Cry” is an eye-opening confessional-style track that offers a perspective of a man’s heartbreak following a breakup. 

Crooned in only a way this award-winning singer-songwriter can deliver, the tune ebbs and flows through a retro grove as he delicately dictates his thoughts, feelings and emotions in a poetically-inferenced lyric statement through his trademark poignantly gruff vocal delivery.

All I see when I close my eyes

I’ve been cryin’ in my beer, cryin’ in my bed

With every release, Brice offers something new into the musical repertoire while always instilling the elements we have come to love so much about him over the years.  Moments of “Cry” are an escape from what we typically hear from him, but still re-settles within the confines of what we adore the most. 

It seems like a lifetime ago that Lee was a songwriter on Music Row penning tunes for some of the industry’s biggest names.  Now, the Curb Records recording artist has accumulated over 3.7 billion on-demand streams and over 4 billion spins on Pandora, while playing headlining gigs across the country. 

In addition to the new music, Brice also recently hit the road for his highly-anticipated You, Me & My Guitar Tour, which will feature a unique and engaging experience for fans as Lee narrates the special relationship and heartwarming stories of each instrument he is playing on stage as he plays acoustic versions of his chart-topping hits.  Having kicked off on January 30^th in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the headlining trek is currently set to stretch through late March.
