Chris Lane continues his recent string of sentimental serenades with a brand-new tune, one that pays homage to his affection for that special someone who will always capture his attention in all the right ways.  “Nothin’ To Wear” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Red Street Records.

Written by Seth Mosley, Jerry Flowers, Jordan Walker and Emily Weisband, this up-tempo number is a fun, playful ode to his everyday life with his wife who he admires and adores even when she doesn’t feel she’s at her best.  A flirtatious approach to the songwriting provides the perfect exclamation point to a light-hearted, emotionally-free musical experience that we so often need.  In a world of chaos and emotional-turmoil, “Nothin’ To Wear” is a breath of fresh air that illuminates the importance of having that special person in your life who can brighten your day just by seeing them.

As most of us remember, the Kernersville, NC native made his debut to the mainstream country music world ten years ago, slating gold and platinum singles with catchy, sing-along lyrics and modern, pop-infused vibes.  In recent years, though, we have come realize and appreciate his talent as a songwriter as he continues to embrace his softer side while speaking to the sentimental side in all of us.  His latest single is an honest, sincere look into the crooner’s heart and one that will continue to make his star shine brighter in the eyes of the country music masses.

“Nothin’ To Wear” serves as a follow-up to his current single, “If I Die Before You”, after his Top 25 Country radio single, “Find Another Bar”. 

With three chart-topping singles, two RIAA-certified multi-platinum and three platinum-certified tracks to date, Lane is set to take his career to another level with this latest release.   Slating his first No.1 in 2015 with “Fix”, Lane’s hits catalogue also includes “I Don’t Know About You”, “Take Back Home Girl” featuring Tori Kelly, and “Big, Big Plans”.  Expanding his catalogue in 2021 and 2022 with hits including “Dancin’ In The Moonlight” with Lauren Alaina, “Howdy,” “Stop Coming Over” and “Fill Them Boots”, as well as “Tequila On A boat” with Dustin Lynch, Lane has collectively tallied 2.2 billion career streams. 

“Nothin’ To Wear” serves as his final release of the year, while he gears up to kick off 2025 by joining the Rascal Flatts as support on their sold-out Life Is A Highway tour in February.
