RYAN AND RORY - Heaven's Got A Country Station - BBR Music Group

Since hitting the scene with their breakout smash “Pour Decisions,” Ryan and Rory have quickly ascended the ranks of the current lineup of country music duos to become one of the hottest on the circuit today.

Their self-titled debut EP - featuring the forementioned single - was met with high praises from both the media and the listeners, they were named as a SiriusXM Highway Find, and this past weekend they notched a bucket list check mark when they made their debut on the Grand Ole Opry (December 7, 2024).

Correlating with their Opry debut, they now cap off their astonishing 2024 with the first glimpse at things still to come, “Heaven’s Got A Country Station.”

Equal parts heartfelt missing you and comforting prayer, the depth-filled song written by Ryan and Rory, Andy Albert, and Kevin Bard shines its focus on a heaven conversation with the loved one responsible for instilling in them the love of music, draped in picturesque wondermint of what heaven must be like and the curiosity of if they’re making them proud down here.

“’Heaven’s Got A Country Station’ comes from a very personal point of view," says Ryan Follesé. "Our love of country music was passed down to us from our parents, so seeing how it resonates to so many who hear their own story in it, is so rewarding. It was inspired by personal feelings but it’s turned into a surprisingly universal message we weren’t expecting.”

Each of the verses paint their heart picture of heaven, travelling gracefully into a cherished belief that the country radio station up there must really have a clear signal while imaging that someday their loved one will get to hear one of their songs playing on it.

Blending their signature harmony into the chorus further defines the characteristics of who they are as a duo as they nostalgically bring their loved one back together with the cornerstones of their life that went before them to heaven, hoisting a blissfulness that transcends the speakers and grabs the heartstrings of the listener to offer them a sense of peace in knowing that their loved one must also be doing okay.

“When you’re drivin’ ‘round those streets of gold

In that truck you swore you shoulda never sold

Favorite dog in the back bench seat

And you hear a song that sounds like me

Hope you turn it up loud as it gets

And you’re proud as hell when the last note hits

Since you’ve been up there I’ve been down here prayin’

Heaven’s got a country station”

A strong stamp on an incredible 2024, highlighted by the faithful knowing that “I’ll see you up there someday,” Ryan and Rory accent the end of their year with a song that carries the broken through the tough holiday season while offering a bright light of hope to a calm and smiled heart in the new year.
