GRAMMY, CMA and ACM award-winner Ashley McBryde continues to impress fans and critics alike with her incredibly virtuosic artistry, offering us something new with every release.  Her latest is a poetic ode to the timeless principles in our lives, one that will stimulate our brains and touch our hearts.  “Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Warner Music Nashville.

Written by McBryde along with Chris Harris and Patrick Savage, this latest tune is the result of a feeling of uncertainty and ambiguity and an ever-changing and often unfamiliar world.  It was a sense that was shared by each songwriter, and the collective desire to connect with what we value the most in our lives is dripping with poetic nostalgia throughout the thought-provoking track.

“In the last several years, we’ve all been feeling like something is missing.  I noticed it in myself and then noticed it in most people I cam in contact with,” Ashley said.  “And we don’t always know how to articulate it.  For us, this song helped us do that.  We are all starving to reconnect with the things that made us who we are.  Sometimes that comes as our sense of justice and duty, maybe for some of us it’s work ethic, for some of us it’s a sense of community.”

The Arkansas native is one of the more widely-respected singer-songwriters in the genre in recent years, and rightfully so.  Her ability to use her sophisticated songwriting talents to tell a down-to-earth story to which we can all relate consistently puts her music on another level…and that trend continues with this latest release.

Her ability to incorporate subtle elements of traditional country with other genres including pop, classic rock, and even some blues is something we have all fallen in love with over the years.  She finds herself in her comfort zone with “Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs”, which serves as a dictionary-definition of who McBryde is as a songwriter and singer.

Fans have been pining for the full version of the tune as Ashley has been teasing the release with snippets scattered across her social media platforms over the past month.  Now, we finally have the complete tune…and it was well worth the wait.

McBryde is finishing up another impressive year with a handful of dates in December before hitting the road on a string of headlining shows along with appearances at some of the country’s biggest festivals and as a special guest on Cody Johnson’s tour, stretching into the summer.
