Recently making history with the release of his No. 1 hit, “She’s Somebody’s Daughter”, Drew Baldridge is back with a brand-new tune that is sure to pull at the heart strings of the sentimental side that exists in all of us.  “Tough People” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via BBR Music Group & BMG Nashville.

Written by Baldridge along with Adam Sanders, Jordan Walker, and Luke Combs, this tune is an ode and a tribute to those enduring difficult situations and overcoming them with tenacity and determination.  But it’s also aimed at inspiring those of us who are battling through adversity and provides a reminder that we are not alone in this fight.

“This song means so much to me,” Baldridge said.  “Our world is full of tough people fighting to stay ahead every day.  But for me, it’s my story about not giving up on my dreams.  I had to risk everything to make ‘She’s Somebody’s Daughter’ a hit.  It was definitely a tough time for me, but our team kept our heads down, worked hard, and pulled out a win.”

Baldridge made country music history in August when his RIAA GOLD-certified hit, “She’s Somebody’s Daughter,” went No. 1 on the Country Aircheck / Mediabase chart.  He is the only self-funded artist ever to hit that mark with his first No. 1 song, while also becoming the highest-charting independent artist ever on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.  The tune has amassed over 1.1 billion streams and impressions across all platforms, and has put Drew on the map of new artists on the country music mainstream.

Currently on the road for his Drew Baldrige Live tour dates throughout the end of the year, the Patoka, IL native will kick off his run on Cody Johnson’s Leather Deluxe Tour in 2025.
