KASEY TYNDALL - Pulling Weeds - MNRK Music

Country rock songstress Kasey Tyndall continues to build anticipation surrounding her upcoming self-titled debut album, due in early 2025.  The North Carolina native is showing yet another side to her musical arsenal with a gritty, unapologetic tune that pokes fun at life and luck.  “Pulling Weeds” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via MNRK Music.

The country-rock sub-genre has been dominated by men over the past decade, but women like Kasey Tyndall are turning that tide.  The hard-hitting guitar licks and rousing vocal power showcase her talent track after track, and those elements are once again on display with this latest release.

While expressing frustration over the ebbs and flows of life, the song also offers a sense of reflection and internal resolution regarding the nurturing that’s put into life and accepting the fact that results may not always come your way.

“’Pulling Weeds’ is a song for everyone,” Kasey said.  “A person can grind and change their ways for the better, but still nothing shows itself right away.  And sometimes you just have that though of, ‘when is it my turn?’”.

Opening with a bit of a subdued melody, the tune gains momentum throughout as the listener awaits the explosion of tenacity, grit, and passion that are the collective embodiment of what we have come to expect from the Tyndall’s music.

“I’ve been pulling weeds

And making room in the garden

I’ve bleached my soul clean

Yeah, I’ve done my part

And I’ve made my wrongs right

So what else do I need to do

To get life to be good to me too?”

Along with “Pulling Weeds”, the singer-songwriter’s forthcoming self-titled album will feature a track listing of unapologetically-authentic songs that highlight who she is today and the change that she’s overcome.  Following the likes of “Not As I’ve Done”, “Bad For Me”, and “Dirt Road To Hell”, her latest effort adds to a list of quality tunes that demand the attention of fans, critics, and media alike.

Tyndall has been keeping busy on the road in 2024, including a slew of dates opening for Ian Munsick and support dates with Ella Langley through November.  With a growing catalogue that continues to show her undeniable talent, Kasey is sure to have one of the most highly-anticipated records of early 2025.
