LAINEY WILSON FT. MIRANDA LAMBERT - Good Horses - BBR

It has already been an incredible year for Lainey Wilson.  She became an official member of the Grand Ole Opry, won a GRAMMY for Best Country Album, a People’s Choice Award for Female Country Artist of the Year, and three ACM awards, including the coveted Entertainer of the Year.

Now, the country music superstar is adding to her unprecedentedly successful music catalogue with the release of a brand-new tune, which features a very special guest.  “Good Horses”, featuring Miranda Lambert, is now available digitally and on all streaming platforms via BBR Music Group / BMG Nashville.

Written by Wilson, Lambert and Luke Dick, this is a sonically diverse and sophisticatedly unique offering by the genre’s most notable female act.  Its mystically ominous melody slithers its way through alongside Lainey’s signature delivery, showcasing her distinctive songwriting style.  Lambert’s trademark vocals push the song to another level, as the two stars blend their harmonies beautifully with an emotive flair that will imbed itself into the hearts and minds of fans upon their first listen.

Exploring the realities of life and love, the cleverly-crafted tune treats the listener to an emotionally-enthusiastic account of how we all find our way back home to the ones we care about and long for, no matter how long it takes or no matter where we are in the world.  The lyrics are poetic, the music is erudite, and the collective comradery of its singer-songwriters is admirable and undeniable.

“I don’t need a map

I don’t need a road

I don’t need a fence

I just need to roam

If you wanna love me, you don’t need a rope

You just need to know

Good horses come home”

The acoustic ballad represents a new chapter in Lainey’s duet experience, having been featured on hits by Jelly Roll, Hardy, Cole Swindell, and Lauren Alaina.

Serving as her first collaboration on her own project, “Good Horses” is the fourth song to be released from Lainey’s highly-anticipated fifth studio album.  ‘Whirlwind’ will be available everywhere on August 23rd, which features the lead single, “Hang Tight Honey”, which is currently in the Top 15 at country radio and climbing.

The release of “Good Horses” comes as Lambert has recently announced her ninth studio album, ‘Postcards From Texas,’ due for release on September 13th via Republic Nashville.  The new record serves as a new chapter of her own since parting ways with Sony, her label home for 20 years.
