  JORDAN DAVIS - I Ain't Sayin' - MCA Nashville

Jordan Davis took his career to another level with the release of his second full-length album, ‘Bluebird Days.’  The 17-song effort was released on February 17, 2023, producing four consecutive No.1 songs.  Now, while enjoying the massive success of the award-winning record, the multi-platinum singer-songwriter is seemingly turning the page and looks to his next project, releasing a new track that promises to be a part of an upcoming album.

“I Ain’t Sayin’” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via MCA Records Nashville.

Written by Travis Wood, Steve Moakler, Mark Holman, and Emily Reid, “I Ain’t Sayin’” is not a testament to everlasting love, but it’s a live-in-the-moment approach to acting on and for what you want, realizing what you have when it’s right in front of you.

This tune is about infatuation, excitement, admiration, and appreciation for the person right in front of you and how you’re feeling when you’re with that person.  One person’s loss is another person’s opportunity, and Davis croons his way through proclamation of interest and desire to be with someone whose significant other has left alone.  As is the case with the current top-notch modern country tunes, “I Ain’t Sayin’” uses short, quick-witted liners to pain a picture to which we can all relate.

“I ain’t sayin’ I’m an angel, baby if you can’t tell

No, I ain’t the take-you-home-to-mama type

And I ain’t sayin’ he’s a bad guy, all I know is that guy

Must’ve up and lost his mind tonight”

Davis continues to solidify his reputation as a crafty songwriter and highly entertaining singer and performer.  This latest installment to his music catalogue is catchy, easy to sing along to, and presents another unique angle to a relatable topic.  Created during a writing retreat Jordan hosted in Montana, the song oozes with the elements of a classic Davis tune we have come to know and love over the years.

“I loved the feel of this song as one of the first new tracks off the new album,” David said.  “It was amazing to be able to perform it for fans for the first time on stage.”

‘Bluebird Days’ included four chart-topping singles, including “Buy Dirt,” “Next Thing You Know”, “What My World Spins Around,” and “Tucson Too Late”.  In addition to working on his new album, Davis is on the road headlining his Damn Good Time Tour while also appearing as direct support on Luke Combs’ Growing Up And Getting Old Tour on select dates.
