COLE SWINDELL - One Day - Warner Music Nashville

Cole Swindell is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.  The country music superstar recently wrapped up his Win The Night Tour last weekend, but with plans of a fifth studio album on the horizon, the south Georgia native has released a brand new tune that is sure to add to his impressive catalogue of fan favorites.  “One Day” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Warner Music Nashville.

Written by Chase McGill, Ernest K. Smith, and Jordan Schmidt, “One Day” is a tale of finding one’s true love.  A clever play on words and creative, singalong lyrics are accompanied by a charming melody that is inviting to the ears of listeners of all ages and disciplines.

Charting massive success with upbeat dance numbers including “Drinkaby” and all the way back to his debut single, “Chillin’ It”, Swindell has often released songs in the recent years that pull on the heart strings of the listener.  From “You Should Be Here” to “3 Feet Tall”, his songs mean something emotional to him, and that personalization is inevitable when hearing his vocal delivery, something that takes these tunes to the next level.

“One Day” is no different, as he delivers the passion and emotional intensity with every word as he croons about a hypothetical love that turns out to be his dream come true in reality.  It’s down-to-earth, it’s relatable, and it’s a feel-good, easy listen with a happy ending.

“Brown eyes, brown hair, plaid skirt, tall boots

Skinny margarita in a dive bar booth

Sounds like, ‘Oh my God, I love this song’

Got me like, ‘I do too,’ yeah

One day was way down the line

I was really gonna take my time

But one look, one dance, one kiss changed my mind

I think I met one day last night”

“One Day” follows “Forever To Me” and “3 Feel Tall” as releases off his as-of-yet-formally-unannounced fifth studio album.  The highly-anticipated record is sure to take Swindell’s career even further into the stratosphere.  His latest record, ‘Stereotype,’ was a massive success amongst critics and fans alike, featuring the hit singles “She Had Me At Heads Carolina,” “Never Say Never” featuring Lainey Wilson, and “Single Saturday Night”.

The ACM Award-winning singer-songwriter is in the middle of one of the biggest years of his career.  Having concluded a hugely successful tour, a new album expected later, and hit-after-hit being released digitally and to country radio, Swindell’s star shines brighter as he continues to emerge as not just a singer, songwriter and performer, but a country music superstar.
