LAINEY WILSON - Hang Tight Honey - BBR

Is there a bigger star having a better year in country music at the moment than Lainey Wilson?  The ACM Entertainer Of The Year and Female Artist Of The Year debuted a brand-new tune live in front of millions of people last week, and now she has released the song as her next single.  “Hang Tight Honey” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via BBR Music Group.

Co-written by Wilson along with Jason Nix, Paul Sikes, and Driver Williams, the Baskin, LA native’s latest single will find itself relatable to many, including Lainey herself.

“I’ve been runnin’ the roads nonstop for a few years now and I ain’t gonna lie to y’all, sometimes it can be tough being away from home that much,” Lainey shared.  “At the same time, remembering what ‘home’ is and the things that I get to do for the ones I love because of the work I put in, is what keeps me going and makes it all worthwhile”.

Paying homage to those that put in the hard work and sacrifice time at home to succeed at doing what they love, “Hang Tight Honey” is an upbeat, sing-along anthem that finds the superstar right in her comfort zone.  Her confidence and swagger ooze through the speakers as she beautifully croons her way through the clever lyrics alongside the infectiously-and-irresistibly-catchy melody that will have the listener head-bobbing and toe-tapping throughout the pop-country sing-along anthem.

From start to finish, this song represents everything we have come to know and love from the GRAMMY-award winner.  She continues to offer something fresh and unique from song to song without compromising who she is as a singer or songwriter.  The tune hits home in all the right places, and embraces her southern down-to-earth demeanor while also lending itself to the eras of those who prefer the pop-country modern sound.

“Hang Tight Honey” follows “Country’s Cool Again” as the second single off her highly-anticipated forthcoming album.  Her fifth record, ‘Whirlwind’, due out August 23^rd, follows the award-winning and career-changing ‘Bell Bottom Country’.  Wilson kicks off her Country’s Cool Again Tour on May 31^st, hitting 35 markets across the nation beginning in Nashville and ending near her hometown in Monroe, LA.
