Black River Entertainment singer/songwriter MaRynn Taylor’s latest single, “I Know A Girl”, tells a story that is all too familiar.  The tune follows the thoughts and emotions of a one-sided crush and the internal agony it causes during every moment of every day.  From sleepless nights to starving for attention, the song epitomizes how it feels to have a crush on someone who has no idea and does not necessarily reciprocate those feelings.

Baring resemblances of the likes of Carly Pearce, Taylor Swift, and Martina McBride, MaRynn Taylor hits her stride vocally on “I Know A Girl”.  The track is heavily influenced by the country-pop juice, but fans of 90’s country may also recognize some familiar beats and notes. 

Written by Jimmy Robbins, Nicolle Galyon and Shelley Skidmore, “I Know A Girl” represents a musical biography for so many intertwined between the triumphs and tragedies of love.

Taylor signed a recording and publishing deal with Black River in late 2019 and has been garnering the attention of fans and critics alike with her music and delivery.  “I Know A Girl” will be one of many notable releases from the Rockford, MI native in the coming months / years.
