TYLER HUBBARD - Vegas - EMI Nashville

Tyler Hubbard’s 13-track sophomore album, ‘Strong’, is due for release on April 12th, and as that date draws nearer, the talented singer-songwriter continues to tease the country music community with previews of what we can expect from the forthcoming record.  His new tune, “Vegas”, is available digitally and on all streaming platforms now via EMI Records Nashville.

Written by Hubbard along with Jordan Schmidt and Andy Albert, “Vegas” is an upbeat, fun sing-along track centered around a man’s confession to elope with a girl who he is in love with and wants to marry.  From start to finish, this is a classic Tyler tune to its core, with its cutting-edge clever lyrics and easy toe-tapping vibe that will resonate with us all well after the first listen.  It’s a fun party anthem, but also a love song that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

“’Vegas’ is a wild-at-heart take on the ever-familiar love-at-first-sight story,” Hubbard said.

“Even though I know your daddy would’ve killed me

I’da bought a couple tickets in a heartbeat

Hindsight, baby, all I can say is

First night, no lie, I’da took you to Vegas”

“Vegas” is the latest preview of Tyler’s upcoming album, ‘Strong’, and follows the previously-released “Turn,” “A Lot With A Little”, and lead single, “Back Then Right Now”, which is currently approaching the Top 10 on the country charts.

Partially due to his wildly popular success with Florida Georgia Line, Hubbard’s tenure as an accomplished songwriter has somewhat flown under the radar for mainstream country music fans.  He has written cuts for the likes of Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, and Thomas Rhett, while having penned seven No. 1 hits as part of the ward-winning duo with Brian Kelley.

Hubbard signed his recording contract with EMI Nashville in May 2022, and shortly after, released his debut solo single, “5 Ft 9”.  “Dancin’ In the Country” was released later that year, followed by his debut record in November.  With two No. 1 singles to his name and “Back Then Right Now” quickly approaching that same level, the Monroe, GA native has his sights set on taking his solo career to the next level.

Fans will have plenty of opportunities to see Tyler on the road, as he is joining Kane Brown on his In The Air Tour which will hit markets from coast to coast through the spring and summer.  In addition to headlining dates scattered throughout the year, Hubbard will also be making appearances at some of the country’s biggest festivals.
