ANNE WILSON FT. JORDAN DAVIS - Country Gold - Capitol CMG

Only three months into the year, Lexington, KY native Anne Wilson is already making 2024 one to remember.  Having been named a Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch, CMT Next Women of Country, and Opry NextStage Artist, the talented songstress is set to release her highly-anticipated album, ‘REBEL’, on April 19th.

Giving fans one more preview of the forthcoming collection, the Platinum-certified, Grammy-nominated artist has released a new tune.  “Country Gold” featuring Jordan Davis, is available now both digitally and on all streaming platforms.

Written by Wilson along with Jeff Pardo and Matthew West, “Country Gold” is a faith-infused duet that centers around the appreciation for the simple things in life.  Anne’s and Jordan’s vocals blend beautifully and harmoniously as one throughout the spiritually-uplifting and thought-reviving musical anecdote to find joy in life’s simplicities and be grateful for what you have and for whom you can share those moments.

“I’m a huge fan of Jordan’s music, and I’m honored to have him join me,” Wilson said.  “This song is all about roots and remembering where the good stuff in life really is. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”

As has been the case with her previous releases and is what to be expected in the future, “Country Gold” bends the lines of the genre borders with her unique approach and Christian-influenced country sound.

“It’s a little house on a little land

A little built it with your own two hands

Little pride in a hard week’s work

Little supper after Sunday church

To most it might not look like much

But I put roots down here because

The richest people that I’ve ever known

Truck country gold”

In addition to the release of “Country Gold’ and the upcoming album drop in April, Anne is also celebrating her first-time CMT Award nomination for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year for “Rain In The Rearview” which first premiered on the CMT / Paramount Time Square billboard in January.  The song was her debut country single, while the unforgettable ballad “Strong” is taking the Contemporary Christian world by storm.  Her debut Christian single, “My Jesus”, became platinum-certified and since that time, she has tallied more than 880 million global streams, made her Grand Ole Opry debut, and scored a Grammy nomination for her 2022 debut album ‘My Jesus’.

Having just wrapped her first country tour as direct support on Scotty McCreery’s Cab In A Solo Tour, she has dates scheduled across the country, including headlining gigs, special guest spots as well as appearances at some of the biggest festivals in the nation.
