MATT ROGERS - Whatever Keeps You Crazy - ONErpm

Fresh off a monumentally career-changing year in 2023, Georgia native and TCM Class of 2022 artist Matt Rogers has released his first new tune of 2024.  “Whatever Keeps You Crazy”, a fun, light-hearted love song, is available now digitally and on all streaming platforms via ONErpm Distribution.

Written by Rogers along with Barrett Baber and Scott Sean White, the tune is an upbeat, whimsical ode to that special person in one’s life.  Musically, it’s a head-bobber and toe-tapper, while lyrically, it’ll have the listener singing along midway through the first chorus.  The relatability of the track is undeniable, particularly because the songwriters took blurbs from their own personal stories to contribute to the storyline.

“This was such a fun song to write,” Rogers said.  “We tried to capture exactly what the ‘it’ is that you just can’t get enough of from your partner.  Sometimes we think they’re crazy for even being with us in the first place; other times, it’s maybe the ‘crazy’ they bring to the relationship.  Either way, we’re here for it.  It’s such a light-hearted, fun love song.”

“Whatever keeps you crazy

Whatever keeps you callin’ me baby

Whatever keeps that fire in your eyes

Your body on mine

It keeps you keepin’ me up all night

I’ll take ya wherever you need me to take ya

As long as you keep on lovin’ this lucky fool

Girl, I’m gonna do

Whatever keeps you crazy”

Serving as his first release of 2024, “Whatever Keeps You Crazy” follows “Tea Was A Little Sweeter”, a nostalgic trip down memory lane that tugs at the heart strings of the teenager in all of us.  “Rush” and “South Dakota Sky”, also released in 2023, collectively contribute to an ever-growing and continuously-impressive music catalogue.

Matt’s love for the stage and energetic live show has propelled him to incredible opportunities, including sharing the stage with some of the biggest stars in country music, from Chris Stapleton to Jake Owen to Brothers Osborne, among countless others.

Certainly not to be outdone by his on-stage performing is his undeniable writing ability.  Rogers has won 17 songwriter awards for his songs “Coal,” “She Was Everything,” and “I Was Raised,” each of which has played its part in garnering the attention the talented Georgia native deserves from the country music community.  Coming off an incredible busy 2023 and a new top-notch tune to kick off 2024, Rogers is setting himself up to be a mainstay on the music scene for the foreseeable future.
