TYLER BRADEN - Devil You Know - Warner Music Nashville

Heavy-hitting country rocker Tyler Braden is back with a brand-new single, adding to his music catalogue with a new anthem that is sure to resonate with fans and listeners.  “Devil You Know” is available digitally and on all streaming platforms now via Warner Brothers Nashville.

Written by Sam Martinez, Graham Barham, Zack Dyer, and Jon Robert Hall, this is a song that will appeal to fans of all generations, not only of country music, but across multiple genres.  Musically, “Devil You Know” bares resemblance of an outlaw tune from years past, offering a mystically rocking country vibe that provides the perfect backdrop for Braden’s aggressively rustic powerhouse vocal delivery.  With the steady drum beat alongside heavy-hitting riffs accompanied by supporting acoustics and clear, relatable lyrics, this is a sing-along anthem to its core.

“We’re the hell on the other side

That you ain’t met yet, tread real light

Dare you to light that fuse

‘Cause I can be a loose cannon

Cross the line, I’ll call you bluff

Promise when push come to shove

That you don’t want that smoke

Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t”

Musically, this song is a subdued rocker, using the arrangement and the edgy riffs and cuts to add to the emotional impact of the progression.  The passion behind the melodic ebb and flow, as well as Tyler’s vocal delivery, put the song’s emotive effect to another level.

“This is probably the proudest I’ve been to be a part of a single, because it’s a song that so many people can get behind wholeheartedly,” Braden shared.  “It’s a song about confidence and not backing down.  It’s a song about not allowing yourself to be underestimated or taken for granted.  It’s a song I’ll be proud to perform live for years to come.”

“Devil You Know” follows the standout tune “Friends,” which has gained traction and has been climbing the charts on SiriusXM The Highway.  His five-track EP ‘One Take Sessions: Vol 1,’ garnered praise from critics, media, and fans alike, including his debut single “Try Losing One” as well as a cover of the Goo Goo Dolls’ hit “Iris”.  ‘Neon Grave EP,’ released earlier this year, put Tyler on the country music map for many, introducing fans to his explosively gritty vocals and invocative lyrics.

Having hit the road hard in 2023 playing nearly 100 dates while sharing the stage with the likes of Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and Brooks & Dunn, Braden announced earlier this year that he is headlining his own Real Friends Tour in 2024 throughout the spring and into the summer at venues and festivals across the country.
