TRACIELYNN - First I'm Gonna Kiss You - TLR

Virginia native and emerging country music songstress TracieLynn released her debut EP in August 2023, formally putting herself on the map as a bright young promising artist.  Six months later, the talented singer-songwriter has released her first new tune of 2024.  “First I’m Gonna Kiss You” is available digitally and on all streaming platforms now.

Showcasing her incredible vocal prowess, this is a song for the lovers at heart.  With its creatively relatable lyrics and sentimental core, this tune is a down-to-earth tribute to the special person some of us are lucky enough to find in our lives.  Drawing on her own experiences and personal feelings, Tracielynn naturally gravitated towards the subject matter, the lyrics, and the arrangement.

“What really brought out the idea for the song was thinking back to the way I felt when I met my husband for the first time,” Tracielynn said.  “Taking my own personal feelings and the rabbit hole of thoughts I went down upon meeting him, was what sparked this idea.  I truly feel like this song was the easiest song I’ve ever written.”

It is a beautiful song from start to finish, with her incredible vocal range and control taking it to the next level.  The emotion and passion behind each note is what pushes this tune over the top, and is sure to resonate with its listeners.  While she has achieved past success with toe-tappers and ultra-catchy numbers with some of her earlier releases, songs like “First I’m Gonna Kiss You” illustrate her musical maturity as she continues to hone her craft and escalate her career as a songwriter and singer and further her artistry.

Since moving to Nashville in late 2019, Tracielynn has garnered over 10 million all-time streams across all platforms with the standout tracks “Good Kind Of Crazy,” “Ain’t Enough Whiskey”, and “All Goes South”, among others.

Serving as her first release of 2024, “First I’m Gonna Kiss You” follows “Broadway Cowboy” and “Faith In You” from 2023, as well as “One Plus One” with Cody Purvis.  Her debut EP, ‘More Than A Bad Habit’, released in August, was her formal introduction to the country music mainstream fan base, and was met with resounding praise.  Fans will have plenty of chances to catch the Virginia native live, as she has dates scheduled in her home state as well as appearances in Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia through the spring and summer.
