There’s just that something extra special about sibling duos. Their harmonies are always so crisp, each member of the duo seems to know what the other is going to do before they do it, and they generally write/choose songs that each can truly feel which helps to elevate them.

These are the exact factors that have made the sister duo of Presley & Taylor so sought after by the Nashville music industry elite and has recently earned them a place on Connecticut Magazine’s “40 Under 40” list in their home state.

Following the success of their last single “Don’t Even Know Your Mama,” Presley & Taylor now return with “22 Red Flags.”

The up-tempo, toe-tapping song, written by John Goodwin, Craig Monday, and The Michaelis Sisters, allows Presley & Taylor to get a little more edgy than we’ve heard from them in the past as they weave their 2010’s influenced country sound together with all the right modern touches to be attractive to today’s market.

They use each of the verses to sing us through a list of all too often ignored relationship warnings (aka red flags): that the guy in question was living with his mama, was friends with all the waitresses at the local bar, always calls her angel and never uses her name, etc.

However, as is the case most of the time in life with crushing on the “bad boy,” the chorus acknowledges that even though she could see all the red flags about him right in front of her, she promptly ignored all of them and rushed right in anyways even though everyone said to not to do it.

Presley & Taylor has already garnered a ton of attention form the country music industry, but “22 Red Flags” unravels another layer into who they are and what they bring to the table as a duo, while also allowing each of their voices to perfectly juxtapose off each other as they further stamp home the harmony rich sound that is becoming their unique signature.
