ADAM DOLEAC - Ain't She - Arista Nashville

As Adam Doleac continues driving into the next chapter of his career since releasing his debut album Barstool Whiskey Wonderland, he’s been transparently opening his diary to focus on what, and more directly who, is the most important aspect of his life.

He answered the request of his fans this past summer when he gifted them with the viral favorite “Biggest Fan,” a heartfelt ode to his wife, and he now returns with his appreciatively in love, “Ain’t She.”

Though descriptive lyrics about love and the way that someone makes you feel when you fall head over heels for them is nothing new to country music, the ability to create something that is still fresh and unique is a space only reserved for those who craft from the true emotions of their heart.

Doleac has clearly done that here.

The awestricken swooning feels embedded into the flavoring of the midtempo ballad allows Adam to wear his heart on his sleeve as he travels through comparatives that range from simple to the more meaningful, outlining who she is from his point of view while balancing against all that she adds to him and his life.

She’s wilder than an Oklahoma wind,” “she's a plot twist when you think you know,” and “she's champagne in the dive bar smoke,” all cleverly add description to her complex personality while lines such as “she's the light in the dark I need” and “she's the reason I know that I'm right where I'm supposed to be” layer the verses with how she’s changed his life, pulling us masterfully to the confessional aura of the chorus where he leads to the knowing ask of the hook:

“She ain't like nothing that I ever held on to

Way out of mind but it's like she don't know

I wish your beautiful could see it like I do

If she ain't Heaven then she's damn near close

As I'll ever be

As I'll ever see, yeah

She's way too good for me

Ain't she”

As Adam Doleac endearingly pours his heart out through song, as much as his ultra-modern sound refreshingly keeps him on the up and up against a crowded country music scene, his raw, heartfelt emotions and soulfully guided twists are quickly becoming the centerpiece that’s

continuing to attract new fans to his music while satisfying his core fan base each time out, giving him the firm foundational ingredients in the recipe for success.
