KASEY TYNDALL - Bad For Me - River House

With each new release, River House recording artist Kasey Tyndall slaps country music fans in the face….in a good way.  Her hard-hitting edgy brand of country rock has demanded and deserved the attention and respect of fans since she first broke onto the scene.  And not even two weeks into a new year, the talented singer-songwriter is back with her first taste of new music of 2024.  “Bad For Me” is available everywhere now.

Invoking the theme of “a bad girl needs a bad boy”, Tyndall croons and rocks her way through vocally-subdued verses before turning things up a notch and rocking her way through the chorus.  This tune flows naturally and easily, with the hard riffs and heavy drumbeats paving the way for Kasey’s vocal delivery, which soars and sways at all the right moments.  Serving as a perfect marriage between melody and lyrics, this song will have listeners head bobbing through the first chorus before singing along during the second run.

“I need somebody with smoke in their lungs

I need somebody with some sin on their tongue

If he ain’t a little bit, just a little bit bad for me

Then he’s no good for me”

Since making the move to Nashville, TN in 2015, Tyndall has been honing her craft and developing what is quickly becoming her signature brand of edgy, rock-influenced country.  The controlled aggression she conveys, both musically and lyrically, has made her one of the more intriguing new faces in the genre, as she infuses and intertwines elements of the likes of Heart and Carrie Underwood to truly create a sound all her own.  Her first release of the new year is the latest installment in an ultra-impressive musical catalogue.

“Bad For Me” follows “Dirt Road To Hell”, which debuted on CMT.  Named as one of the 2023 CMT Next Women of Country, Tyndall broke onto the scene with standout singles “Middle Man” and “Jesus and Joan Jett”.  Her girl-powered anthem “Nothin’ Wrong With Being Country” as well as “A Place For Me” with Dylan Marlowe, however, introduced her to the wider country music audience.

Kasey wrapped her run with Ashley McBryde on her “The Devil I Know” tour in the fall of 2023, and the Greenville, NC native is showing no signs of slowing down with her first release of 2024.  In a very short amount of time, Tyndall has developed a trademark sound and image for herself within the confines of the music community.  With an attitude set to take the world by storm, accompanying impeccable songwriting talent and powerhouse vocal range, she is well on her way to becoming a household name in country music.
