COLE SWINDELL - 3 Feet Tall - Warner Music Nashville

In February 2024, Cole Swindell will be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the release of his self-titled debut album.  The multi-platinum record included his debut single, “Chillin’ It”, which quickly garnered the attention of fans and critics and was followed by the likes of “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” and “Let Me See Ya Girl”.  And…as they say…the rest is history.

Now, recognized as a true country music superstar, the Georgia native is gearing up for a busy 2024 with the release of a brand-new song.  “3 Feet Tall” is now available digitally and on all streaming platforms courtesy of Warner Music Nashville.

Written by Trey Lewis, Trannie Anderson, and Jordan Walker, this is a song that will hit close to home for many and will generate an emotional response from most.  The tune tells the tale of divorce through the eyes of a young boy.  Narrated through powerful lyrics from the perspective of a developing mind with a limited understanding of the bigger picture, “3 Feet Tall” vividly illustrates the thoughts and feelings a child may have when his/her parents decide to separate or divorce.

“There’s a lot I don’t remember, but that cryin’ down the hall

Had a way of makin’ me wonder maybe it was all my fault

I got stuck in the middle of weekends and holidays

And my suitcase was too little to carry all that weight

I might not have understood it all

But not everything goes over your head even when you’re 3 feet tall”

The lyrics tell a detailed story as only a country music track can do, and Swindell’s voice articulates the emotional state to perfection as he croons his way through the heartbreakingly true story of the other side of love and marriage.

A sure-to-be hit and early nominee for song of the year, it’s also a track that will be utterly relatable for many, including Cole himself, whom was a child of divorce.

“Songs like these are why I fell in love with country music in the first place,” Swindell said.  “Music is so powerful and I feel like this song is just special.  I hope it hits a few of you out there like it does me.”

“3 Feet Tall” is the lead single from an upcoming, as-of-yet-unannounced fifth studio album from Swindell.  His latest record, ‘Stereotype’, was a massive success amongst critics and fans alike, including the hit singles “She Had Me At Heads Carolina”, “Never Say Never” with Lainey Wilson, and “Single Saturday Night”.

Having recently wrapped up his TWELVE TOUR in November, Cole has also announced plans for 2024, as he will be headlining his WIN THE NIGHT TOUR, kicking off May 16th in Canada before trekking across the United States through July.  The tour will include direct support from Dylan Scott along with Jon Langston, Lily Rose, Mackenzie Carpenter, Meghan Patrick, and Restless Road on select dates.
