Massachusetts native and rising singer-songwriter Jillian Cardarelli first discovered country music at a young age, and thus was inspired by some of the biggest names in the genre’s history, from Patsy Cline to George Strait to Shania Twain.  At the top of the list of her biggest influences, though, is Elvis Presley…which makes the release of her new single that much more special.  “If I Could Talk To Elvis” is available on all streaming platforms now.

Her latest release follows the trend that she has established herself as an artist truly on the brink of breaking through to big things in the genre.  Her songwriting is creative, intuitive, and craftily sophisticated yet down-to-earth, while her “girl-next-door” demeanor and relatability make her music that much more appealing to the masses.  Her vocal power, control, and flexibility are remarkable, and she seems to offer something unique and unexpected with every song she releases.

Fans, fellow artists, and industry representatives have also taken notice of her songwriting creativity, and “If I Could Talk To Elvis” is an illustration of the true talent she possesses to be able to take her thoughts on how she would converse with her biggest influence and develop that into a high-quality song.

“I fell in love with Elvis at five-years-old when my dad played the Aloha from Hawaii Concert Special on VHS,” Jillian shared.  “This song sums up everything I wish I could say to Elvis and I think Elvis fans will relate to this song.”

Jillian asked Larry Strickland, Elvis Presley’s background vocalist of The Stamps Quartet, to join her on the song.

“When I heard about this song, I was very intrigued because I actually did get to talk with Elvis…often,” Strickland shared.  “I never really thought much about other folks’ desire to talk with him.  Then I heard how good the song is and I was excited to sing with Jillian on it.”

“If I Could Talk To Elvis” follows Cardarelli’s well-regarded cover of “Walking In Memphis,” as well as previous 2023 releases “Could’ve Been Boy” and “Country Side.”  Since the release of her self-titled EP in 2022 with the lead single “What’s It Gonna Take”, Jillian has been making a name for herself as one of the bright new starlets on the up-and-coming country music scene.

With a strong stretch of releases this year, highlighted by the most recent “If I Could Talk To Elvis,” this talented songstress will continue to garner the attention she and her potential rightfully deserve.  In addition, the music video for the single is expected to drop later this month, when fans can see it on CMT as well as her official Youtube Channel.
