Kasey Tyndall made her Grand Ole Opry debut on her 28th birthday - July 19, 2023.  The unforgettable evening represented a culmination and formal announcement that the talented singer-songwriter from near Greenville, NC has officially made herself a force on the country music scene.

“Dirt Road To Hell,” the latest release from the River House Artists recording artist, is available on all streaming platforms now.

Since making the move to Nashville, TN in 2015, Kasey has been honing her craft and developing what is quickly becoming her signature brand of edgy, rock-influenced country.  The controlled aggression she conveys, both musically and lyrically, has made her one of the more intriguing new faces in the genre, and perhaps her approach to singing and songwriting is best illustrated on “Dirt Road To Hell.”

Infusing and intertwining elements of the likes of Heart and Carrie Underwood, spanning across genres and decades, Tyndall’s latest tune is an anthem for anyone who has been in a relationship with an unfaithful partner.  The realization of the situation, followed by feelings of shock, denial and sadness, are quickly replaced by that of anger.  As the first verse begins and progresses, her vocal delivery escalates from mellow and somber to aggressive and volatile.

Lyrically, this is a tale of betrayal and deceit, and the impending end of a relationship.  The story-telling nature of the tune represents one of the elements we have loved most about traditional country, and it being told through the modern blend of country rock puts this song in a rare category all its own.

“You always take Main

But lately there’s a lotta red dust ‘round the wheels of your Chevrolet

And that hair tie found on my side, it ain’t mine

All that’s left to say

Is you can stay in that bed you made

So take that truck, take the lies you tell

And take that dirt road straight to Hell”

Named as one of the 2023 CMT Next Women Of Country, Tyndall broke onto the scene with standout singles “Middle Man” and “Jesus and Joan Jett.”  Her girl-powered anthem “Nothin’ Wrong With Being Country” as well as “A Place For Me” with Dylan Marlowe, however, introduced her to the wider country music audience.

The official music video for “Dirt Road To Hell” debuted on CMT, and is as bold and vibrant as its singer.  In addition to releasing new music, Kasey will be hitting the road as the summer winds down and into the fall.  Intertwining headlining gigs with special appearances, she will also be the special guest on select dates of Ashley McBryde’s “The Devil I Know” Tour.
