Emily Ann Roberts has released a deeply personal and beautifully emotional song, inviting us, the listeners, into her mind and her heart.  Her new tune, “Infinity”, is available now via Starstruck Records.

Co-written by Roberts along with Stephanie Chapman in 2019, the song was played by the string quartet at the Knoxville native’s wedding as she walked down the aisle to marry her now current husband, Chris.

The tune tells the tale of her real-life fairy tale love story with her high school sweetheart, centering around the notion that no matter how much time they have together, it will never be enough.  It’s an ode from a wife to a husband and a profession of love and admiration, as well as a promise to love forever.

“We met in Spanish class in high school and we’ve been together ever since”, Emily shares.  “He is such a steady force in my life.  He truly is my better half and my best friend.  When you find your person, forever just doesn’t feel like long enough.”

Lyrically, “Infinity” is a love poem that will melt the hearts of those romantics out there.  More than that, this song is incredibly relatable, with its down-to-earth nature and “girl-and-guy-next-door” undertones.

“Oh infinity won’t be enough for me

I need a guarantee I got you for eternity

And when life is done the stars go on and on and on so

Darlin’ why can’t we just have infinity”

It is a lovestruck smooth and silky ballad, which ironically (or maybe not so much) follows her previous single, “He Set Her Off”, a tale of relationship deceit and revenge.

Emily’s vocals are beautiful and elegant, reminding us all of just how incredibly talented she is as a singer.  Her range, control, and delivery put her on a level with very few in the genre, and her ability to convey emotional responses from the listener is undeniable.

Emily Ann Roberts gained national notoriety in 2015 when she placed as the runner-up on NBC’s “The Voice”.  Since then, she has toured the country playing headlining gigs while opening for the likes of Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton, all the while continuing to hone her craft as a singer, songwriter, and performer.  She has graced the stage at the historic and world-famous Grand Ole Opry over a dozen times, and her music has accumulated over 19 million streams to date.  Her previous release, “He Set Her Off”, has tallied nearly two million streams while earning well-deserved praise amongst fell artists, media, and critics alike.
