LANCO
"Sound of a Saturday Night"
Riser House
In today’s country music community, we are constantly being introduced to new artists who are talented and fast-rising stars who represent the future of our genre. But often under-appreciated are those acts that continue to reinvent themselves and challenge their creativity and artistry with new musical directions and approaches.
Multi-platinum, ACM Award-winning band LANCO is back with brand new music, introducing themselves once again to the country music world with a song promises to be another favorite of fans new and old.
“Sound Of A Saturday Night” is available everywhere now, and serves as the band’s first release under Riser House Records, which is also the label home for the likes of Mitchell Tenpenny, Dillon Carmichael, and more.
The group’s first release since 2022’s “Low Class Lovers” is a country-rock anthem that pays homage to the great Bob Seger. It’s a fun, party-anthem released in perfect time for summer. Written by LANCO’s Brandon Lancaster and Tripp Howell along with Jeremy Spillman and Howell’s brother Tate, this is an undeniably catchy sing-along track that will have a new wave of fans climbing aboard the Nashville-based act’s bandwagon along with their existing devoted following.
The lyrics are witty and craftily orchestrated, delivered by Lancaster with the perfect feel-good care-free attitude the accurately articulates the mood and vibe of the tune’s message.
“Yeah, Seger on the speakers teachin’ us night moves
Yeah, got a wild in your eyes no tellin’ what you might do
Got my heartbeat beatin’ like a kickdrum
When you’re dancin’ in the pale moonlight
Wohoo, don’t it sound so right
Yeah that’s the sound of a Saturday night”
LANCO first exploded onto the scene in 2017 with their No. 1 hit single, “Greatest Love Story” off their chart-topping debut album, ‘Hallelujah Nights’. In addition to signing with Riser House Records and releasing a brand-new tune, the band will be playing new music for fans across the country as they have dates scheduled throughout the summer.
