With releases including “Took The Fall” and most recently “Warning Label”, Grace Tyler has been forcing the country music world to take notice as she continues to garner praise as one of the more promising up-and-coming artists on the circuit.

The Frisco, TX native has released her latest tune, “Sound of You Gone”, which serves as yet another reminder (as if we needed one at this point) as to how much talent this singer-songwriter possesses.

Co-written by Liz Hengber, Jesse LaBelle, and Emily Krollin, the was released just ahead of the Memorial Day weekend, serving as a dedication to military members, veterans, and others who have made sacrifices to provide and protect our freedom.

While the general theme of the song is clear - a self-declared testament to anyone who’s been struggling with missing someone – the specific context is fairly open-ended, expanding its relatability and community impact.  Simply put, “Sound of You Gone” focuses on the thoughts and feelings felt when we miss someone who used to be in our lives and is no longer there.  Whether it is due to the end of a relationship or the someone passing away, the emotions felt when we long to be with someone and it is no longer possible are the deepest and often most difficult to express and process.

Lyrically, this song is a poem of honest and vulnerable sentiment, proclaimed in a down-to-earth, relatable nature that will immediately touch the heart and impact the mind of the listener.

“The silence is ringing loud

And I just can’t drown it out

Maybe I could move on

If I could turn off

The sound of you gone”

The somber piano intro through the first verse quickly takes a backseat to Tyler’s impeccably beautiful vocals as she aggressively yet gracefully croons through the chorus.  The emotive convection of her delivery is unapologetically honest and perfectly on point, pushing the emotional impact of the tune over the top.

Ever since moving to Nashville as a teenager, Grace has been improving herself as a singer, songwriter and performer.  And with every song she releases, we, as fans and critics, continue to be impressed with the evolution of this incredibly talented and gifted musician.

“I’m here for all of the peaks and valleys, because no matter how it’s happening, it’s happening”, Tyler says.  “And I get to do what I love to do.”

The country music world loves what Grace Tyler is doing as well…and we can’t wait to see what she does in the future.
